Event Admin Emails

I am trying to locate ( to be able to change) where to change our Admin Email that directs and event email. I have looked at the EE account, and the options within Word Press. All are up to date with our Gmail, however the EVENT Emails triggered when someone registers is going to an old Yahoo. Please advise. I believe I looked everywhere and read throught the forums.

Hi there,

By default, the Event Admin emails use the [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL] shortcode, which parses to the email address of the user account set as the Event Author.

It is possible to change the Eent Admin emails to use a different hsortcode, for example using [CO_EMAIL] to parse to the email address set in Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your Organization.

Or, update the user account email and EE will use the new value set there.

If you let m know which option you prefer to use I an add more details on how.

By User account are you referring to the user who created the event(Event Author)?

If so, you can check that under Dashboard > User > Edit your required user and there you can change the email address as required.
