ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES shortcode not working

Until this morning, I was using [ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES event_id=2936] successfully, but I wanted to have more detail in the list, so I tried this instead [ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES ticket_id=31]. Now neither of them work…

See http://ptitslutins.org/events/kiosque-du-mjt-avec-chloe-2/

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Gen,

Can you try deactivating the Event Espresso plugin, then reactivate it, then go to edit that event, then click Update?

I did what you suggested, and there’s no change :(.

Hi Gen,

Wow that’s really strange. If it’s possible, would you be able to complete the secure form on this page so we can investigate further?

Can you double-check the log in credentials you sent and resend? The reason I ask is because I tried to log in and it failed.

I’m afraid these do not allow us to log in either. Maybe you can send a password reset for that account to support eventespresso.com?

PSWD reset sent.

Okay the shorcode is working now. What I did was I removed the event_id parameter, then re-saved the event. That parameter isn’t necessary to include on the actual event page, unless you’re pulling in the event list from a different event, then you’d need to specify the event ID there.

Thanks. I saw that it worked.

However, I removed the entire line with the event_id parameter (it did double duty with the ticket lists), and we are back to the shortcodes not working …

Help again?

Hi Gen,

Whenever you make a change like that, and the shortcodes stop parsing, you can go to edit the event, then hit the button that says “Mettre à jour”. That will reset the short code tracking for that post.

Hi Josh,

It works when you do it, but not me 🙁

The shortcodes stopped working today after the latest update. I did what you suggested, to no avail. Ex : http://ptitslutins.org/events/kiosque-du-mjt-avec-michele-6/

If you remove the three different shortcodes there, then replace with just this:

[ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES]

Does it work again? If so, then you can try adding the shortcodes with parameters back in.
