Errors after update to EE4

I just updated my EE3Lite (version 3.1.37.6.1.L) to EE4 (version 4.8.29.p). After the migration I see the events in the new version. However my general settings and other pages generate a 500 server error. Also the “Permanently Delete ALL Event Espresso Tables and Data” buttons gives a 500.

What to do?

Hi Dick,

The 500 server error is a good indication that your server is running very low on memory and cannot load those pages because it ran out. Can you contact your host to see if they can raise the memory limit?

If you happen to have file access to your server, you can also bump up the amount of memory that can be used by editing your wp-config.php file. There are instructions that you can follow on how to raise memory limit here:
