I am currently trying to use EE to sell my tickets to my events. I have a multi language site. I am not using EE to be translated at all right now. However it is breaking the other parts of my sites that are a different language.
I get the same thing for the following:
Hi Michel, Currently Event Espresso does not support multiple languages, I’m assuming you are using WPML to display your site in multiple languages? If not can you provide details on how you have this setup please. |
Its breaking the multi-language part of the site on its own. I am not using EE on the other language. I am selling and using event espresso in French and the rest of my site is in english. EE is breaking every other page with the two extensions i listed on the English side. What other details do you need? I would be happy to provide them. |
I’m not sure I understand. Is this within the admin or on the front end? Viewing the front-end of both versions of your site I can’t see any issues so I’m assuming this is the admin. |

I have disabled the two plugins that were breaking my site. I have activated the promotions plugin. Now you can see. |
Hmm, ok I see. I’ve created a ticket for some feedback from our developers on this and will get update this thread shortly. For now you will need to disable those add-on’s for the site to work. |
Hi Michel, Can you send me a copy of WPML so we can investigate this further please? If so, can you send it to support[at]eventespresso.com please (depending on filesize you may need to upload it to something like dropbox and include the link to download within the email) |
Sure can do |
I sent it as requested, title was WPML. |
Hi Michel, Thanks for sending. I loaded up those plugins onto a site that’s running the twenty twelve theme, set up some pages with translations and I’m not seeing any errors. Can you outline any further specific information about how the pages are set up (where there are errors)? |
I dont know if you saw this further up in the post. I only got the error when i did this. WHen I enabled these two addon on. Did you try and enable the add ons? I specifically got the errors on the other translation side of the side. Example http://www.mysite.com/en/xxxxx |
Yes I did see the part about the Promotions add-on and the People add-on being activated, and they are activated on my test site. I’m not seeing any errors on the translated pages. May I ask which WordPress theme is activated? |
Theme 2019 for our site. |
Where may I be able to download this theme from? |
Its a bought theme. I can email it to you if you would like. |
Yes, please do. Same email address as before: support[at]eventespresso.com |

Email sent |
Hi again, I’m still not seeing any errors after installing and activating the theme. Is there any way you can clone your site onto a development/testing server and send us credentials so we can troubleshoot there? |
