Error when deleting a payment details

Using a test event I registered all the way up until I got to the paypal screen (using the paypal standard payment method). I then abandoned the payment (i.e., I did not press cancel and I did not complete the payment, i just left the screen). This left a transaction in event espresso that had a payment with no gateway response. When I attempted to delete this payment detail I received the following error:

An error occurred! Your request may have been processed, but a valid response from the server was not received. Please refresh the page and try again.

Refreshing the page shows that the payment detail was in fact deleted.

This is 100% reproducible.

Update: The bug that affected deleting payments within abandoned transactions has been fixed and the fix is included in Event Espresso 4.8.34.p.
