Hello
I am getting the error “Sorry, you are not allowed to list events.” when using the EE4 amobile app on android. I followed the information in the #troubleshooting guide but still is not working.
Tried changing the .htaccess file
Installed plugin Application Passwords
Disabled all plugins not using

Hi there,
Within the app, what are you setting within the ‘Website URL’ field?
(Note – you can set your reply private if you only want EE staff to view it)
Are you using a Windows or Linux server?

Ok, your rewrite rules include index.php, is that intentional?
If you go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks
Which option is selected?
If ‘Custom Structure’, what is set in the field?
Can you send me temp login details so I can try login in via the app and view the request/response? If so, you can send using this form:

rewrite rules to index.php, is not intentional…
permalinks it set to custom stucture
/index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
i already sent my credentials

Remove the /index.php from the custom structure you are currently using so it leaves just:
/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
Hit save.
Confirm that your permalinks still work as expected on your site.
Reload the app and try again, does it work then?
