Error on Registration Payment on Sold Out Classes

I’ve noticed this happening a few times. If a class is sold out you can’t click on the invoice and make a payment online. However in this case the class wasn’t sold out but it was on March 8th. Do you know what is causing this, people should still be able to pay after the class has happened?

We’re Sorry
It appears that the event you were about to make a payment for has sold out since you first registered. If you have already made a partial payment towards this event, please contact the event administrator for a refund.

Hi there,

Do you know what is causing this, people should still be able to pay after the class has happened?

EE is geared towards an event that happens on a specific date(s) so if we allow payments for sold out events we are allowing overselling of the event.

Payment ‘after’ the event should work, but not if the event is still sold out.

Can you add a screenshot of the event setup so I can test this locally?

Or add some details on the datetime and ticket setup for the event so I can match it.

What registration status do the registrations trying to pay have set currently?
