I get this error on checkout:

Cannot redeclare class EE_SPCO_Reg_Step_Payment_Options in /home/pyramidr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/single_page_checkout/reg_steps/payment_options/EE_SPCO_Reg_Step_Payment_Options.class.php on line 1956

Hi, was this site manually updated by overwriting the existing core files and folders for Event Espresso 4?

If so, could you deactivate Event Espresso 4 through your WP dashboard and then re-install a new copy through your WP dashboard?

You can download a new copy from your Event Espresso account page:

I deleted the original files and uploaded by using WordPress Add New function to add the new updated plugin. I still get an error during the checkout page. Please advise.

Hi there,

Currently the checkout page is not parsing the shortcode, it simply shows [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT].

Can you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages.

Don’t make any changes just click to save the settings.

Next edit this page:

http://www.pyramidresource.com/checkout-for-registration/

Again make no changes and just update the page.

Does the ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT shortcode then parse and display nothing in your event queue?

I did what you asked and it still does not work. Would you like the login info to test for your self?

Was that the page that previously displayed the error or is that within the logs?

If you create a new page, add [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] to that page and publish it.

Then set that new page in the ‘Registration Checkout Page’ dropdown within the Critical pages and retest.
