When members go to register for an event they get the following error message upon submitting the form. Despite the error message, it DOES actually register the people for the event, but of course upon seeing the error message, the user has no way of knowing that and immediately try and refresh (thus registering themselves multiple times) or calling us.
Note: We are using SendGrid for SMPT email notifications.
The error message is saying that the from address set in the message editor isn’t valid (and BritishAmericanBusiness isn’t quite a complete email address is it?)
So here’s how to fix: You go into the Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Template editors for the Registration Approved email template that goes to the Registrant, and you change what’s in the From field to be a valid email address. You may need to repeat the above for other messages to fix the From field.
