Error connecting to AuthorizeNet with AIM gateway

We just migrated our server but retained the same domain and dns. Suddenly the final step in the payment process is failing. When the CC form is submitted it simply returns the visitor to the CC form page with the “Error connecting to AuthorizeNet” message but no error codes, etc. We have already reactivated all EE components. This was previously working flawlessly before the move. Any ideas?

Hi Leland,

Try deactivating and reactivating the Authorize.net gateway to reset the paths.

Yup we did reactivate gateway choice before posting here.

Was this moved from one host to another, or migrated from one server to another from the same host?

We moved from a shared vps platform to a private vps server with vps.net to utilize more dedicated speed.

Leland, can you run the Event Espresso requirements check plugin on this new server: https://eventespresso.com/requirements/

One thought I have is whenever people who have had trouble with gateways after moving from one server to another is new new server isn’t configured the same. Like cURL isn’t enabled, the permissions are different, or it’s missing a CA cert.

The requirements check plugin should be able to check for the cURL module, and I think Chris added something in there to check for whether it can find a CA cert.
