This is a new website that was then transferred. All is working fine in front end but when trying to add registrations I get the following message:
The following errors have occurred:
An event id was not provided or was not received.
Please click the back button on your browser and try again.
The event id provided was not valid.
You need to select a ticket quantity before you can proceed.
We have seen this previously and it turned out the cause was the hosts mod_sec rules being trigger when the user added a registration via the admin, can you check if that’s happening here? (You’ll likely need to check with your hosts if that’s happening)
OK. So my hosting provider made a change to security mod and error still there so they then said ‘ Please contact support and tell them that mod_sec for your account was disabled and there no other plugins that could affect that on our server.’
Someone else reported the same error almost 2 years ago and it turned out to be their internet connection. Can you try logging into your WordPress dashboard while logged into another network, then try adding a registration on the admin?
Hi Josh. You were right. At home I did the test and it worked. Rebooted router at work and now its fine. Thank you for your help.
