We are having an issue with registrations. The problem is that we’re unable to delete past tickets because they become “locked” and this quickly fills up the 1000 input limit for the server. We aren’t changing the price at all, this just happens for some reason whenever we try to delete an old ticket/datetime regardless of whether we deleted the registrants. I think we need to get rid of the locked entries first.

1) Do you know why these tickets are being archived and
2) How can I delete locked tickets for an event without it affecting other events?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

The locked tickets can’t actually be deleted without breaking associated data. A limit of 1000 input variables is extremely low so the way forward will be to set the limit to 2000, 3000, or even 4000. You can contact your web host and they may raise that limit for you, or some hosts have specific documentation that shows how, like this example:
