I would like to see an option to publish an event to GMAIL Calendar by providing Gmail email address and password for a specific Gmail account hosting gmail calendar.

Thank you,

Jake

Dean and I worked up a modification that adds a google calendar link. https://gist.github.com/sidharrell/5758246
There is a hook provided for the ical link, so you can add the google calendar code to a function and add it to the hook: apply_filters(“filter_hook_espresso_display_ical”, $all_meta)

Sidney,

Thank you for the tip. I had something else in mind. I wanted ability to update one global Gmail calendar (e.g. Company calendar used by all employees) with any event being published through Event Espresso. It would be even better if Gmail calendar entry had Register or View (for non-registration events) link.

Thank you,

Jake

Hi Jake,

Thats an interesting idea, I dont think it is something we are planning on doing right now, but I will certainly add the idea to our feature request list.

You could try one of the recommended developers to see if they can create something for you – https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/

No problem, I’d be happy to get this into your backlog. Is it OK to update this topic as resolved or do I need to keep it open?
