We are volunteering organization and have about 5 admins working on the website at any given time. I would like to request adding some type of basic security to protects payment gateway settings. (e.g a person who installs the plug-in will create a password needed to update or change the payment Gateway settings, log that indicates who changes the setting, the old value, new value, email alert, etc). Hypothetically, any administrator can change the PayPal email address to their own and start receiving the event payments. With some events generating $20,000+ this will keep me awake on some nights.
Why Not use the Roles and Permissions add on and set the users as MAster Admins, you can select what the admins actually gain access to, so you can not provide access to the payment settings.
You can also edit the role to have further access to general wordpress areas like posts etc (by default they get just Event Espresso access).
No problem, let me know if you have any further questions.
