I have 3 tickets: General, Ringside, Stage.
Then I have a Meet & Greet add-on ticket.
How would I disable the Meet & Greet ticket by default, then enable it when any one of the other 3 tickets are selected?
Or alternatively, is there a way to include an Option Field on each ticket selector to enable an upgrade.
For example:
General admission – $10
Meet & Greet Add-on – $20
General admission ticket price is upgraded to $30
This would actually be the preferred solution.
There’s an add-on available from a third-party developer that allows for modifying the price of a ticket based on the answer to a question on the registration form. You can learn more about the plugin here:
Thanks Josh! I really appreciate how responsive you are.
The client requires the optional product to be listed as a ticket item in the ticket selector. The plugin you suggested is a great solution, but it wont work for this event.
As a temporary solution, I created a fourth ticket for the optional product with a required note in the title:
Meet & Greet (Requires Admissions Purchase)
Another idea (which I don’t think is as nice as using the price modifier) would be to remove “Meet & Greet (Requires Admission Purchase)” ticket, and replace it with 3 new tickets:
– General Admission + Meet & Greet $30
– Ringside Admission + Meet & Greet $40
– Stage Admission + Meet & Greet $40
That will make for a total of 6 different ticket options (instead of 4 total).
