Dear support

See: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/DRqwhvaWoz8QRT1gvhSF6m?

Calendar on the subdomain works just fine. The calendar on the root domain only shows spinning cog and will not load events.

This was working fine for months now it will not load. Let us know what can be done. Thank you.

Hi Greg,

Can you check the developer console in your web browser for errors? There might be a Javascript script loaded from another plugin or the theme that’s causing issues.

If you don’t see any console errors, then try temporarily disabling any recently added or updated plugins, one at a time, then check the calendar page after each plugin is deactivated and reactivated.

Hi Greg,

Are you comfortable changing a little bit of JS on the site to confirm if its the issue?

In \wp-content\plugins\ee4-events-calendar\scripts\espresso_calendar.js

On line 208 you should have something like:

$( thumb ).load( function() {

Change that to:

$( thumb ).on("load", function() {

You’ll then need to force your browser to reload the files using a hard refresh, for me thats CTRL+F5.

Do that on both the subdomain and the embedded calendar.

Does it for you then?

Note, we have an open ticket to investigate this but the above should fix it in the meantime.

You’re most welcome.

Just to note this change will be included in the next update to the calendar add-on.
