Embed Vimo video into single event page

Hi
I have some few questions that I need your help with.

1) I try to embed a video from Vimeo into the single event page. So far without success. I have tried “ad media” and insert the URL. When I press save, the URL is disappearing.I have tried to generate a shortcode with Embedpress. Does not work. Have also tried to insert a shortcode from Vimeo. Does not work.

Can you please assist?

You can add the Vimeo embed code to the text mode of the description area so that you can see that in the frontend:
