Outlandish

After a registrant is approved for an event…we want to send an email to the registrant, the event guide, and the event admin showing the approval, as well as the details of the event they will be attending and the email address of the guide. I am a little confused on how to do this. Can I get some guidance?

Thank you.

Hi,

Assuming you’ve got the Registration Approved message type activated, you’ve already got most of this done because the event admin & registrant will get an email.

The email to the event guide can be set up by Creating a custom Registration Approved message template for the event, then add the event guide’s email address to the CC field. You can also add the event guide’s email address to the content of the email. You can reuse that custom message for every event associated with that guide.

Thank you, Josh. Here is the other part of the question. We do not want the registrant to receive a list of attendees. If we do not include the list – the guide does not know how many people are showing up per registrant for the event. How do we do that effectively?

Thank you.

You’ll note there are 3 contexts for the Registration Approved email message type. The Event Admin context can include the list, where the registrant contexts can omit the list. The Event Admin and Guide can both get a copy of the Event Admin context if you make use of that CC field to send a copy to the Guide.
