We are having an issue with emails not being received through the EE system. A new user will get a welcome email but will not receive ticket information. The messages show it is being sent, but it will not be received. I have checked spam folders and done a global search for DanJuarezFund.com emails, an email hasn’t been received. Is there a configuration I may have missed?
How is the site set up to send email?
Are you using any SMTP plugins or just using your host’s mail server?
The short answer is that if EE is showing the emails as sent in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message Activity then the email content generated, packaged and sent correctly without any errors. If the emails aren’t being received after that they are likely being dropped by either the sending or receiving mail servers which is outside of EE’s control and switching to a transactional email service should help:
The quickest way to know if this is the issue you have is to simply sign up to one of those services (most have a free tier) and see if your emails start working. If so, its an issue with your current email server.
