Hi,

I am trying to have an email sent to my customers that has all the payment details and all the ticket details in 1 email. I do not want it to send 2. Everytime I try to add the payment detail shortcodes:
Payment Details:

Payment Status: [PAYMENT_STATUS]
Transaction ID: [TXN_ID]
Total Cost: [TOTAL_COST]
Payment Amount: [AMOUNT_PAID]

I get this error message:
An error has occurred:
The following shortcodes were found in the “Main Content” field that ARE not valid: [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED]
Valid shortcodes for this field are: [EVENT_LIST], [ATTENDEE_LIST], [TICKET_LIST], [COMPANY], [CO_ADD1], [CO_ADD2], [CO_CITY], [CO_STATE], [CO_ZIP], [CO_LOGO], [CO_EMAIL], [CO_PHONE], [CO_LOGO_URL], [CO_FACEBOOK_URL], [CO_TWITTER_URL], [CO_PINTEREST_URL], [CO_GOOGLE_URL], [CO_LINKEDIN_URL], [CO_INSTAGRAM_URL], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_LNAME], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_CODE], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_PHONE_NUMBER], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ADDRESS], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ADDRESS2], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_CITY], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ZIP_PC], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ADDRESS_STATE], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_COUNTRY], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_TICKET_LIST], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_DATETIME_LIST], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_QUESTION_LIST], [EVENT_AUTHOR_FNAME], [EVENT_AUTHOR_LNAME], [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL], [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]

Can I not add payment details to an email? I am using the registration approved template, but want to also turn it into my payment details email …so it’s all in 1 and then delete the payment detail template. Is there a way to do this??? Help would be appreciated! Thank you

Hi,

You can use the TKT_QTY_PURCHASED tag in the Registration Approved message, but it needs to go into the TICKET LIST block: http://take.ms/xUtuP

The tags on the right are all ordered by where they can go in the message, so for example anything in the Main Content list on the right can only go in the Main Content section of the message.

Ok, Well I guess that makes sense. I wish we could put them where we wanted though…

Also – my venue google map is not displaying on emails – it’s just an small picture icon. Why would this occur?

Hi Nicki,

Have you enabled images within the email? Most email providers disable images by default so you need to click ‘display images’ within the email – http://take.ms/CgwBH

Then shows – http://take.ms/z5Grq

Does that help?

Mine looks like this:

You can see it’s just a blue link with no image. My images are turned on in gmail…

And honestly…the screenshot you provided looks really nice with grey boxes…I wish mine looked like that! Why is the grey missing on mine? I would like it to look more organized because old people are really weirded out by an email ticket in the first place!

Hi, Tony shared a default registration approved email. Have you made any changes to the layout for your template?

These changes would have been made here:

WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Messages –> Registration Approved –> Registrant
