Create an event fine.
People book onto event fine.

We change the date or time of the original event and then use the ‘Email Attendees’ function under the event overview section to let the attendees know that the date of the event has changed.

We then use the [start_date] shortcode on our email to notify our attendees of the date change. But it pulls through the original date, Not the new date.

This is the only place the date has not changed, its changes on the site and in the event overview.

Need this sorting as we lost customers, sent people to an event on the wrong day all because the shortcode pulls in the ordinal, rather than the modified date.

Wordpress – Version 3.9.1
Event Espresso – 3.1.36.5.P
Installed months ago not an upgrade.

Hi Mark,

It turns out that when someone registers for an event, the date that they select gets recorded in their attendee record. If the event’s date is changed, the software doesn’t run a function to change the attendee’s selected dates.

I can go ahead and update the email so it sends out the updated dates. Can you follow up with a reply and verify which event this needs to happen on?
