I am contacting on behalf of our client who is running your Event Espresso extension on their website.
They have the latest version 4.9.30.p installed.
We have run into an issue which we have never experienced on a WordPress website with emails. The WordPress has WP SMTP installed which we use for routing all of our clients emails via SES and MailGun.
I can confirm from the backend of WordPress if I go to the WP SMTP Extension and run a email test this routes through fine to our mailboxes. I can also confirm that when I use a contact for on the front-end of their website that the email is delivered and I can see this in the log files on MailGun. However, when I try to send email from Event Espresso they do not sent, they never get to Mailgun.
I can see the emails sitting in the database queue table in Event Espresso however we never see them triggered.
Can you please help point us in the right direction here, either I have missed something very simple or its just not working.
I have read up that EE uses wp_mail which I also believe the contact form uses, which is confusing as one works and the other doesn’t.
Although you’ve mentioned this is now fixed, this line:
I can see the emails sitting in the database queue table in Event Espresso however we never see them triggered.
Are the email sitting waiting to generate or have they sent?
Which colour status bar do they have in the message queue?
