Can i get the email to include the Question Groups Descriptions ?

That information is not currently available as an email shortcode (email tags).

Can i edit this somewhere in the code then ?

Hi

You would need to edit a core file, /includes/functions/email.php

Looking at the code you are going to need to do an SQL query to pull in the right question group and its description directly from the database as that info is not available in the file by default.
