Email not sent and status not set up approved

I want an email to be sent when someone signs up – it works correctly when paying with Check, but when PayPal is selected, the system does not send any emails. I’d like an email to be sent even when they cancel their PayPal transaction – so my assumption was to set all new registrations to Approved to trigger the approved email. But, I’m not sure this is firing when canceling a PayPal transaction.

I’d be happy to provide my credentials if needed.

Hi Wes,

The messages are triggered after the user clicks “Finalize Registration”, and depending on the logic a certain message is sent. If you have all the messages enabled, you should receive a message that the registration has been approved, regardless of payment.

Does that make sense? Are you experiencing something different?

Also, do you have the “Registration Cancelled” messenger turned on in your Message Settings?
