Hi,

I have a recurring event which starts and finishes on the same day – in the confirmation email my customers are not getting the date when they have booked which is quite an issue. We are just using the Default Registration Confirmation Email in general settings which we have tweaked to look like this :

Hi [fname] [lname],

Many thanks for booking the uplift at Revolution Bike Park on the [start_date].

The uplift runs from 10am-4pm with a break for lunch at 1pm for 30 mins, we do a BBQ with local butcher’s burgers and sausages available to buy for your lunch and we stock a small selection of cold drinks.

The Transaction ID is: [txn_id]

If you need any more info you can contact us on *****@**********.co.uk or phone ***********.
<div>

We look forward to seeing you then.

From all at Revolution Bike Park.

</div>

*************************

Also when getting the registration confirmation? email to our email address it has the details of who’s booked and the date at which they placed there booking but not for the date they booked for (e.g. they placed booking today for the 12-11 only todays date comes through)

Any help with this would be appreciated,

Kind Regards,
Tom

Can you check in the db in the wp_events_detail table and see if the start_date is being saved in the YYYY-MM-DD format?
It should be converting it to your localized format when it is displayed on the site, but it should be saved in the DB in that format.

Also to add in case the above is already correct.

You have:

The uplift runs from 10am-4pm with

Is that time hard coded or are you using [start_time] – [end_time]?

I’m asking as if your not using the above is this due to one not being set? If so you’ll need to set a start/end time for [start_date] to work correctly.
