Hi I was wondering if someone could show me how to configure the confirmation emails that delegates get (for a free event where they are approved by default). If there is a Youtube video or anyone you could recommend as a trusted developer I’d be grateful. Not a huge job I know, but I’m scratching my head a bit. Thanks |
Hi there, May I ask, what is it you would like to change? In the above scenario they would recieve the ‘Registration Approved’ message type, so to edit that you would go to: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates (tab) In the list you will see the ‘Registration Approved’ message type – https://monosnap.com/file/ZEWztw1uWaf4AdRt7yfhTKCurKo8bk Clicking on the ‘Registrant’ link takes you to the Registrant ‘context’ for that message type, see: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/messages-system-working-with-message-contexts/ There you can edit the details, but if you let me know what you want to change I may be able to help point you the sections/shortcodes you need to edit/add. |

Thanks I’ll give this a go. Is there any way I can have confirmation emails sent to the person who is the event manager? Thanks |
|
Also, I’ve tried to activate the Upcoming Event Notifier plug in (I know it’s a beta) but I get this error message: An error has occurred: Cheers |
Sure, but how are you defining an event manager? Setting them as the event author?
The current version of core is not compatible with the Automated Upcoming Event Notifications add-on so that add-on is currently not usable. |

Thanks I’ve worked out how to add the Event Managers by adding them as the authors and using the short codes. Any idea when the reminders will be live? Also as a suggestion for that, could you please have the option to send multiple definable reminders – so for example a reminder could be send a week before and then a day before. Thanks |
|
Also, will there be an option on that reminders plug in (that you can switch on or off) that would trigger an email the day after an event for delegates that didn’t turn up or weren’t checked in? Or perhaps a trigger that sends delegates that did attend a link to say thanks for coming and one for no shows to send the dates of the next events. THanks again |
Not currently, WP5 and Gutenburg work is currently taking priority on our development time.
I can this as a feature request, however the AUEN add-on has been broken down into multiple smaller more specific add-ons due to the number of various requests in the way people wanted the add-on to work. That means we will be working on the most requested feature set first and then look into additional requests that we may add in.
This would basically have the same answer as above, we’ve not had many requests for those specific features. |
