Hello
I have searched the fourm and there seemes to be no definitve advice on how to intergrate Elavon as payment gateway in UK.
Elavon offers merchant processing in more than 30 countries and supports the payment needs of more than 1,000,000 merchant locations across the globe. Elavon is the 4th largest U.S. credit card processor and is a top 6 acquirer in the European marketplace
The posts I have found going back three years suggest that Event Espresso has yet to develop a payment gateway Elavon but I cannot imagine that such a large company has been overlooked.
If it hasn’t please would you point me to how to intergrate the gateway and if it has been overlookd please explain how to intergrate the gateway indirectly while the oversight is addressed.

Personally, this is the firs time I’ve heard of the Elavon gateway, so it may not be as popular as you indicate.

Elavon, formerly NOVA, is the U.S. Bancorp credit card processor. The bank is aamongst the largest financial institutions in the world. They have the 2nd oldest bank charter in America signed in by Abe Licoln, you can find our more at https://www.usbank.com/index.html.
With regard to your reply I want to take payments not build an entire payment gateway myself thats why ive paid Event Espreso hundreds of dollars!! in the 3 years worth of people asking for this on the event espresso foroums is there no simple straight foward solution??

The straight forward solution to integrating payment gateways is made available by the payment processors themselves, and that almost always requires an integration with their APIs. That is what they payment gateways consider “simple straight forward solutions” and expect people to use as an integration.
And I’m sorry, you have not paid Event Espresso to build an integration with that specific gateway. You are paying for support and upgrades for the software currently available on your plan. We do offer gateway integration services separately though.

I perused the usbank.com website, and I did not find any information about online credit card processing or payment gateway services for website transactions. They offer some services for in-person transactions, but it doesn’t appear they offer services for web transactions with a store/cart like Event Espresso: https://www.usbank.com/small-business/accepting-card-payments/index.html
