That’s actually caused by the Divi theme. We’re working on adding some insulation for the Event Espresso shortcodes so that they’re protected from the Divi theme.
I’m sorry – I don’t understand… I’ve been using EE and Divi theme for months and haven’t come across this. Switching themes to create and edit a page isn’t a good fix…
Do you have a timeline on the update you are referring to? Are there any other permanent solutions to this?
You can reach out to Divi themes for support. I’m not sure they understand that themes shouldn’t be processing shortcodes on the edit page the way they are now with the recent updates to the Divi theme. The permanent solution will be for Divi to be changed so it doesn’t try to process shortcodes that normally should only be processed when you view the page, not when you go to edit the page.
