EE44.9.8 Registration Errors

When our guests try to register for one of our events, they get one of the three following issues:

1. The ticket they selected defaults to a different ticket or event when proceeding to the registration form.

2. “An invalid response was returned from the server while attempting to process your request”

3. An error has occurred: Your form data could not be applied to any valid registrations.

We’ve set up no cache rules with our security/caching plugin and have cleared the cache. We’ve tried troubleshooting possible plugins that may be interfering. We’ve also tried resetting our payment gateway but nothing has worked.

We are currently using EE4.9.8, automatic updates for EE are not working on our site because we use multisite and we’ve tried manually updating through the dashboard and it fails.

Does your server have built-in caching? The reason I ask is the issues you describe are all caused by serving cached versions of web pages, instead of serving a dynamically generated page. Is the host WPEngine, Flywheel, or Godaddy Managed WP Hosting?

Web Synthesis is our host server. According to them, W3TC comes installed on every Synthesis server however we do not have that plugin on our site to manage.
