1. When multiple attendees are booked under one event, are individual user accounts created, or just the top-level registrant?
2. Are users able to login and modify their booking?
Ideally we’d like them to be able to choose to click to ‘detach’ any attendees on a booking into their own user account. From what I can see, an admin can do this with contacts in ee4. Can users self-service this with WP user integration?
3. Is there back-flow of info from the WP user account to the contacts? IE is the contact data maintained by the user, or admin only.
1) Not in the way I think you mean (as in click a button on the contact to make user, though that is an interesting idea!), but if a user is created with the same name and email as a contact, it will link to that contact automatically.
2) That beta plugin is for EE3 only! EE4 at this time does not have any import functionality (we are trying to make a simple to use system but under the hood EE4 is really complicated, so it is taking longer than we hoped).
Let me know if you have any more questions or need clarification!
Thanks for your excellent help – and good point on the import…!!
I’ll report back to my team. π
