EE4 updating to lastest version from older versions

Will latest install over back-level versions work OK or does each version need to be updated in unbroken sequence?
For example, if EE4.8.28 is installed but EE4.8.29 and 30 were not installed will EE.8.31 install bring everything current?

Clarification: I’m talking about using the automatic updates not installs

Hi, that is a good question. The latest version will already include fixes for prior versions.

Backup your WordPress (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/) and then you can one-click update to the latest version of Event Espresso 4.
