EE4 – Transactions with status "Incomplete"

Hi,

I am live with ticket sales using EE4 and using the Payment Gateway Stripe.
It seems to work great and the experience feedback from the customers is great!

I do have a question though. When looking at “Registrations” I do have 27 Incomplete registrations or transactions.

There is no name provided, no e-mail present. Column Regdate has a timestamp.
When I click to look deeper into the transaction and “registration session details” I do see a Registration ID a Registration Session, but no IP address or User Agent.

How can these post even occur?
The registration form demands that some of the fields are filled in, but I cannot grasp how these “transactions” even can be created.

Any idea?

Can I simply delete them?

Hi Andreas,

Event Espresso starts the registration as early as possible to try an ensure we can capture all data. So basically the registration is started as soon as you select a ticket within the ticket selector.

All registrations must have a transaction so EE creates one at that time with a status of Incomplete, both the registration and transaction update as EE is given more details from the registrant and the status updates depending on that data.

So, if they have no registration information, no contact (user details) then Yes you can simply delete them if your prefer.
