could you please tell me, would the ticket addon barcode/QRcode system still work if, at the event, it wasn’t possible to connect to the internet/wordpress/plugin database?
our event is held at a location where the team checking everyone’s tickets would not have internet access. could the barcode/QR code’s still be utilised offline?
You need a connection to the database for the scanning to work. So technically, if you can bring a computer to the event with a local server running an exact copy of the WP site on the local server, that could work. This set up would require syncing the data between the remote and local server, and a plugin like WP DB Migrate DB Pro could help with syncing the data.
