I’m using EE4 on WP 3.8.1 on this website (www.bemadrid.com/be-activities) but i don’t like how the events are displayed (e.g. transparent background) because it is not clear.
How can i change and personalize?
(i remember that in version 3 there was a theme selector)

Hi Riccardo,

It turns out that your WordPress theme is supplying the transparent background, just like it does on regular WordPress pages. Event Espresso 4 doesn’t have a built in theme selector, but your WordPress theme might have its own customizer option. Can you check with the theme developer to see if it has a feature like this?

uhm.. i didn’t find how to customize it from the template options.
Is there not a .css file of EE that i could modify?
Or a way with I can ad a css custom class to every EE events?

Hi Riccardo,

All Event Espresso events have the class ‘espresso_events’, they also have the post-id class and ID. For example if you view the source for the event you linked to that event has this:

<article id="post-1762" class="post-1762 espresso_events type-espresso_events status-publish hentry be-activities">

You could add styles to themes styles.css file (overwritten on theme update) or use a plugin such as My Custom CSS
