Hi,

I am trying to manually add payments by bank draft to bookings, but the pop up window is stuck on ‘processing’ and nothing happens. I am using 4.9.79.p

With Best Wishes,

Nick

Hi Nick,

Can you check the browser’s console for errors?

There may be another plugin adding scripts to that page that’s causing the error.

Internal server errors (error status 500) are often caused by plugin or a theme function conflict. Can you check the server’s PHP error logs for an error at the time the error happened?

You could also install the Health Check plugin to help troubleshoot this. After the plugin is activated you go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated you’ll reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WordPress Dashboard.

At that point, can you check to see you can add that payment? If you can, then you can use the Health Check Troubleshooter to reactivate plugins one-by-one and check again.

Hi Josh,

I installed the Health Check plugin and followed the procedure, but it broke my whole website and I had to restore from a server backup. So I won’t be using that plugin again!

I noticed today that this code appears on the webpage when I try to add a payment:

function (){return f&&(c&&!b&&(h=f.length-1,g.push(c)),function b(c){n.each(c,function(c,d){n.isFunction(d)?a.unique&&j.has(d)||f.push(d):d&&d.length&&”string”!==n.type(d)&&b(d)})}(arguments),c&&!b&&i()),this}

Not sure if that helps with the troubleshooting?

Nick

Hi Nick,

May I ask how it broke the site?

If you don’t want to use the above plugin the other option is to deactivate all plugins other than Event Espresso and test a payment, then re-activate each plugin one by one, testing a payment in between each one until the issues come back, you then know which plugin conflicts.

However, 500 errors should also store an error in the servers error log.

If you test a payment and then check the error log what errors can you see there?

Not sure if that helps with the troubleshooting?

Not on its own.

May I ask, do you have the IP Geo Block plugin install on the site?
