Hi, I was delighted to find the new State/Province Packs for a number of EU and international countries … so THANK YOU! however, I am having problems with France and Greece [I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere but …]. I followed the install/activiate/delete for all and the others are working properly. Any suggestions? I’ve tried deleting and reuploading several times. Also – whilst this is a huge step forward (I was going to have to have someone research and enter all these by hand!), it would be really helpful if: 1) They could be dynamic (so I select UK and only UK counties appear) and 2) If it was possible to amend the registration form order (for system questions) so that country can come before state/province. I know that in terms of address that is wrong, but it is more intuitive if you are having to look for your country in a drop down.

Hi Sarah, glad to hear you are finding them helpful. We would like to check into the issue that you reported.
Could you share feedback on the following questions?
Are you using the latest version of Event Espresso 4?
Next, when you browse to Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Countries and select them from the dropdown, are the states/provinces appearing along the right side of your screen?
On your other questions, the order can be changed by going to WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Registration Form –> Question Groups. Then click on the Address Question Group.
Now you’ll see a set of questions that have been enabled for this question group. Click and hold and then drag to rearrange and then save changes.
We do have an enhancement request to show only specific states/provinces for countries rather than show all available. I’ll add feedback there.

No, the states/provinces do not show alongside for France or Greece (worked for all others: (I downloaded all of the available packs and these were the only two that did not work). I tried opening the PHP files from my FTP client and they are in the files, but just not transferring in the plugin upload/activate.

Could I also ask, are there plans to release others such as Japan, the rest of the EU, Russia, Arab Countries etc.? particularly ones that do not use standard roman characters.

Hi Sarah, I spotted a stray comma in each plugin and I’ve fixed and verified that the states/provinces now appear.
Please deactivate and remove both plugins (France and Greece) from your site. Then download new copies from the list here:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/install-new-state-province-packs/#installation
Upload and activate and verify. Then you can remove the plugin as it is not needed to keep the new states/provinces.
