EE4 Sold Out issue

We have a Limit of 42. We have 33 registrations, but it says Sold Out now.

Are you using EE3 or EE4?

To prevent overselling, EE4 has a mechanism that allows someone who starts a checkout about 1 hour to complete their transaction before it is released and available to someone else. Otherwise, people would check out on top of eachother and the event would start overselling.

She had to go in and delete the ones that were pending payment and ones in trash.

Were the registrations in the trash set to Approved?

How many were “Pending Payment”, and how long were they pending?

Im not sure how they got to trash and there were like 13 pending.

Ok, so let me make this clear.

If you have Approved registrations that have been Trashed, you’ll likely see that issue.

“Pending Payment” registrations should not impact the quantity sold for more than about an hour after attendees attempt the registration. After an hour, EE4 will release the tickets and the event will be open again. So, the “Pending Payment registrations they trashed were likely within the last hour or so.

If you find out definitive information other wise, please let us know.
