EE4: Shows "Attendee 2" when adding another event to cart for the same person

Hi, with multiple registrations, when someone adds a ticket for an event then goes back to the events calendar to add another event to the cart before paying for all at once, it shows “attendee 1” for the first event and “attendee 2” or the second event.

Logically, if the person is booking one ticket for each event, it should still state “attendee 1” below each event name on the registration checkout. Only when more than one ticket per event is selected should we see “attendee 1”, “attendee 2” and so on.

How do we ensure it states “attendee 1” only to avoid confusing the person booking the events?

Thank you,

Josh

There really isn’t a way to change attendee 2 to attendee 1. I get what you’re saying about the confusion, and those are more accurately labeled “Registration 1” and “Registration 2”.

You can use a translation function like this one to change the label you see there.

The string you’ll change is Attendee %d, so in the translation function, the code would read as:
'Attendee %d' => 'Registration %d'
