I am trying to accomplish the following look for my registration page:

a list of alphabetized events separated by categories. Next to each event I’d love to have a register button. Not sure if this is possible!

Also if possible this list would only list the name of the event and maybe dates but not the full description. Basically I want a concise list of events that can be seen at a glance without a ton of scrolling.

Suggestions?!

Hi,

You could create a new WordPress page and then use this shortcode:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”free-events”]

It displays a list of events from a specific category on a WordPress page or post.

It would look like this (substitute in your event category slug):

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”classes-1″]
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”classes-2″]
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”classes-3″]

They would be sorted by the start date of the event (new events towards top).

Hmmm- that only kind of answers my question. 😉

Here is a link to my old website. This is more what I’m going for:

Alright, I interpreted your note about separating by categories differently.

We have a template add-on (EE4 Events Table View Template) available that is similar:

Sweet! that’s exactly what I’m looking for! I just purchased the add on. But… it’s not showing up in my account! Did I do something wrong? I’m looking for it in the EE4 add on’s next to the calendar and mail chimp add on’s…

Hi Tamara,

Can you check your account page again? I checked and it’s there. It can take a few minutes for the account page to update.
