Since upgrading to EE4 v.44 a few days ago I have gotten a few Checkout Server Timing Conditions. I realize it is likely my platform… BUT they did start with v.44.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Here is the message:

ee=ticket_selection_received&ee-notice=We’re sorry, but your ticket selections could not be processed due to a server timing error. Please hit the back button on your browser and try again.

THX

Correction:

A few of these happened before v.44

Can this relate to visitor hardware/browser/internet conditions?

Please let me know likely triggers (timeout period, etc) so I can work on platform.

That’s from the bot trap. The bot trap checks the time of the ticket selector form submission and compares it with the timestamp of when the ticket selector form was generated. If the form submission’s timestamp is earlier than when the form was generated, then that’s a good indication a bot tried to submit the form (can’t submit a form that hasn’t been generated yet). Or if the form was submitted over an hour after the form generated it will throw the same error.

You can deactivate the bot trap feature in Event Espresso > Registration Forms > Reg form settings and that will deactivate that check.
