I’ve just started using EE4, and amd just getting used to it. Ive noticed after entering data and clicking save, instead of staying on that page, I get redirected back to my wp dashboard. It makes no difference if i click save, or save and close. I’m creating a new registration form with lots of fields and its very annoying to have to navigate back through all the EE4 menus for each field. Is this the same for everyone, or just a problem on my site?
It also did this when I was using EE4decaf.
Please advise what I can do to sort it.

Hi Alex,
This sounds similar to a problem only on sites where there’s a mod security rule that’s affecting the post saves. Here’s an example of a support thread on wordpress.org where it redirecting to the home page:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-redirects-to-homepage-after-admin-tries-to-submit-post-or-page/
So a first step for troubleshooting this will be to see if things start working after mod_security is disabled.

Hi Josh, thanks for your reply. I have disabled MOD_SECURITY from cpanel and have also added the code to the .htaccess file. This has made no difference. I also disabled all plugins (apart from EE4) and the problem is still happening. Any ideas?
