Is there a way to edit the admin Javascript without editing the core files?

Hi Leon,

Since the JavaScript files are included in the core files, not really. You could deregister/dequeue the core files, then enqueue your own custom files from another plugin. You’ll need to make sure to manage dependencies on other scripts and maintain the custom scripts if you go this route.
