Is there a way to re order what appears when people come to register. Right now the ticket options come up first. Should it not be information about the Event, the venue then ticket? My people are going to be confused. They are used to entering their personal data, selecting their registration package (ticket) and checking out. Plus I can’t see where to add “Description” to indiviudal tickets.
Thanks.

Hi Sallianne,

It turns out that you can use WordPress action hooks to move the location of the ticket options. There is some ready-made example code posted here:

We recommend adding code like this to a custom snippets plugin.

Plus I can’t see where to add “Description” to indiviudal tickets.

You can input a description for individual tickets in the ticket’s advanced settings. The advanced settings opens up when you click the little button that looks like a gear. The little gear and description field are shown in this screenshot:

Josh thanks but that first part is out of my scope. I am not a coder and I am learning the very hard way about this. I found the description section, entered details, updated the page and now the whole ticket option is not appearing when I refresh to view the page.

Is there ANY site live that I can look at. Not being able to see a finished product is frustrating. None of the examples on your site are live or work.
Thanks

Hi Sallianne,

Event Espresso uses your sites theme to output to the event information, so depending on the theme in use the output will be different.

Can you provide a link to your event so we can investigate please?

Not sure how I would link. Lorenzo received a login today via email.
