Hello.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have the discount promotion code input on the registration details rather than as part of the checkout page?
The reason being that our events allow free or deep discounts to veterans and other groups. We set the default status to be ‘Not Approved’ so that we can verify that the person using the code is allowed to do so (so codes are spread around). Once we approve the registrant then we will let them make payment (or confirm free registration).
Right now we can only show the discount / promotion code box on the checkout page which is after the approval steps.

Hi there,
While it’s not possible to move the promo code field to the other step, you can set up a custom question on the reg.form and ask them to input the Promo code there so you can verify they’re allowed to use the code.
Then later after they are approved, they can input the code when they go to make the payment on the payment page.

Thanks Josh. We had already started building it out exactly as you suggested in anticipation that the promo field couldn’t move. Not the end of the world to work around that way.
