A customer of mine has a Groupon promotion. Someone bought 5 Groupons for 5 people. She registered for an event, added the attendees and only entered 1 Groupon (Coupon) code because that is the main Coupon code for the Groupon promo. So the 5 registrations should each have that amount taken off each ticket. It only took off one coupon for all 5 tickets. What is the best way to handle Groupon and Living Social? There needs to be something done. Since they have to tie a Groupon code to a Coupon code, pretty much anyone can use the code if it gets out. |

Hi,
Could you grab a screenshot of the discount code conditions from the promotions editor please? — |

After talking to my customer I have to add something: If a person is registering 5 people and only one of the people has a groupon/coupon code, it gives the discount to everyone being added. A coupon should only pertain to each individual. So that means if someone is registering a group, they have to do multiple registrations. |

Hi, the discount will apply on a per-event basis. To restrict that, update the event to allow a single registration at once through the top right area of the event editor under the maximum number of tickets option: — |

They don’t want to have to register multiple times. Some people have groups of 5-10 people and someone is registering them all. We cannot expect them to go through it 10 times. Each attendee should have its own area for a coupon code for that particular individual in case they also purchased a Groupon/coupon code. |

Hi Dorian, I’ve shared feedback on what is currently possible in Event Espresso. I understand what you are trying to setup but that discount condition isn’t available at this time. — |

So both in EE3 and EE4, a coupon code takes off that amount for all attendees? |
|
Hello, It applies on the event-level and does not target a specific ticket option. — |
