Routing orders question for WordPress 4.1.1
We are looking to use EE4 exclusively (not EE3) to do the following:
1. Allow the public to purchase classes online that are paid classes. I know this is already possible.
2. Allow employees to purchase classes online that are paid classes for the same exact same class without having to pay.
(Basically the money has already been paid by the customer in the store, the employee is simply registering the class for the customer.)
We also want to use the API to download the orders for classes placed by employees to update the existing Point of Sale software.
We know that #1 is ok. I know that EE4 has an API – so that is ok for downloading orders to the Point of Sale.
My question is that it appears there is no login function anymore with EE4. Our plan was to write the exception rules needed for #2 and route orders to the Point of Sale based on the login used to register for the class. For example, we would do it by the employee login.
Maybe we could do it by a special promo code?
