Hello,

I have an event where customers can buy different date tickets at once. In order to indicate the number of tickets the customer bought, we used in the notification to the registrant the shortcode [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED]. But here is our problem: this shortcode only display a part of the quantity of ticket sold and not the total.

Here is the example: I bought 1 ticket for the first date ticket + 4 ticket of the second one. In the notification I receive, the quantity indicated is = 1 and not 1+4=5.
Screenshots are here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4-hsazMWUExV0Q4cXQtRnJqNzg

Do you know what I should do to avoid this situation ? Maybe I should use another shortcode?

Thanks a lot

Hi there,

Which message template are you using AND which context is this shortcode being used?

Can you add a screenshot of the message template you are using? (The full page not the section with the shortcode)

If you switch to [TXN_TOTAL_TICKETS] it should work how your expecting, that pulls the qty of all tickets assigned to the transaction, in the above example 5.

[TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] pulls the qty of each specific ticket as it loops through all of the tickets. So in the above example if you required the Personal Information question group for additional registrants and they provided a different emails address from the primary registrant it would show 1 email with qty 1, and 4 emails showing qty of 4.

Hi Tony,

Great it works to have the total number of tickets! However it is not precise enough for my use case.

How could I do if I also want to display the number of tickets bought at the same time for each ticket date? In the same example, I would like to display in the email sent to the registrant:

Le 10 juin 2017 de 16h00 à 17h00 (this is the date of the ticket) => 1 ticket
Le 17 juin 2017 de 16h00 à 17h00 (this is the date of the ticket) => 4 tickets

See illustration below (message in back-end / email front-end):

Maybe I use the wrong shortcode [RECIPIENT_TICKET_LIST] ?

Thanks for your help

It all depends on where you use the shortcodes and how you have registrations setup.

[TXN_TOTAL_TICKETS] will always pull the total qty of all tickets.

[TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] will pull the qty of tickets purchase for the current ticket AND the current registrant.

Maybe I use the wrong shortcode [RECIPIENT_TICKET_LIST] ?

Add the [TKT_QTY_PURCHASED] within [RECIPIENT_TICKET_LIST] like this – http://take.ms/0FmxH

That will look like this – http://take.ms/Qhbtj
