I have followed the advice in https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-wpengine-hosting-event-espresso/ and worked with WPEngine to remove caching and re-enable the WordPress Heartbeat API.

My site is still not working.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Hi,

What doesn’t seem to be working?

Just out of a hunch/guess, can you try resetting your permalinks? Go to your WordPress dashboard (WP-admin) –> Settings –> Permalinks and save the page.

Hi.

At first I had missing page errors when navigating. Removing the page caches sorted that.

But after this the ticketing detail has been missing. I cannot see ticket details where it was before migration.

Enabling the wordpress heartbeat api did not help.

Thoughts?

PS – we needed to do the permalinks too after turning the cache off. so this has been done too.

Did the WordPress theme also get changed when you migrated to WPEngine, or was the site using the same theme when this was all working before migrating to WPEngine?

The theme has not been changed. It is the same, unless WPEngine have changed something.

Are you able to see that the ticketing information is missing?

Hi, do I need to purchase a priority support token to resolve this?

The registration goes live on Friday so I need to know whether to abandon WPEngine for another host.

I really appreciate your help.

You do not need to purchase a priority support token to resolve this, we can help you right here and now in the support forums.

Can you go in to edit the event and set the “Display Ticket Selector” option to Yes?

Oh wow. I feel silly.
It worked straight away.
I am blown away.

Thank you.

I have another question relating to hiding the price and total, but I’ll raise that as a new support query.
