We have the EE4 Multiple Event Registration add-on and have a few quick questions:
1. Is there anyway to apply an automatic discount if someone registers for multiple specific events? Like if they register for three specific events, they get $5 off?
2. Is there anyway to quickly bundle multiple events to be displayed on one of the event pages so that they just click one button and they will start to register for all events? Like a way to auto register for three specific events from the display of any of the specific events?
You are invited to add your vote and any additional comments on the feature to that card as we use those requests to help prioritize our developments.
For #2 the closest you can do is include the ticket selector for each event on a single page, the user needs to select a ticket from each event and submit each on individually, we don’t have an option to combine them all on a single click at this time.
Ok, one quick follow up question: is it possible to create a promotion that only applies if they register for multiple specific events at the same time? Like registering for 3 specific events at once they get $5 off with a specific promotion code? Thanks.
No, that’s essentially the same as the volume discounts feature, you can’t use any kind of ‘conditional logic’ on promotions at this time.
The promotion system allows you to create a promotion and set it to apply to a specific event(s) or globally, it does not have any kind of conditional logic around the promotion be that price, tickets, events etc.
I wish I could provide you with some kind of workaround, but other than the admin manually applying a discount after the registration has been made and the user paying the remaining value then I can’t think of any.
