We’re at the stage where we can thoroughly recommend EE4 to the people running the events next year. The problem is that there are two of them with different currencies involved, and they’re too close together not to have bookings open for both at the same time.

I can see that this is being worked on at a ‘per event’ level, which is going to be OK for most years. If the official work is not ready in time, I can see how to use custom meta fields on the events. (I would go ‘argh’ at having to replace all the shortcodes in the code, especially every time there’s an update, but it would work…)

I can even see how to cope with the years that have different currencies for the same event: for three currencies, have three events and see previous paragraph! But that only works because we don’t really have a hard limit on the number of tickets sold per real event.

I know it’s a real can of worms, but is having a currency per ticket going to be an option? It can be set to the organisational setting as a default…
